		The print series Impressions are all monoprints, and were created quite spontaneously by inking individual card shapes (which resemble jigsaw pieces) Instead of the pieces fitting together, they are printed one on top another, each print being run through the press numerous times. This process, for me, relates to how we store visual information, fragments of experience, the impression of each idea or image being influenced and affected by what has gone before.
