Natasha was born in England and following the completion of her Diploma in Art and Design in her home city of York, she decided to go north of the border to complete her B.A hons in Fine Art Printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, Scotland.   Natasha fell in love with a Scotsman and graduated, got married and emigrated to Canada in the space of three months!  She landed in Vancouver with her husband Murdo, and continued printmaking at Malaspina printmaking workshop on Granville Island.  During this time Natasha did a number of illustrative jobs including the artwork for a novel 'The Power in the Dark' published by Salal Press in Victoria.  After escaping from the city,  the two moved to the Kootenays where Natasha began teaching at Kootenay School of the Arts.  Two years ago they welcomed their first child Dylan.  During a short respite from printmaking while pregnant, Natasha continued her exploration in to collage techniques and is now back to  printmaking full-time in her garden studio and teaching art at the  Oxygen Art Centre.
