Natasha Smith

Natasha was born in England and following the completion of her Diploma in Art and Design in her home city of York, she decided to go north of the border to complete her B.A hons in Fine Art Printmaking at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, Scotland.   Natasha emmigrated with her husband in 1995 to Vancouver where she continued her printmaking at Malaspina Printmaking workshop.   After escaping from the city,  the two moved to the Kootenays where Natasha began teaching at Kootenay School of the Arts.  Natasha now lives happily with her husband and two boys in Passmore, just outside Nelson B.C.  She continues her teaching at the OxygenArtCentre  In 2009 Natasha will be opening up her studio/gallery in Passmore, which will showcase her printmaking  and collage paintings.
